With the prompt 'white', I couldn't resist an homage to a Canadian classic, "The Log Driver's Waltz", by Wade Helmsworth. The song is wonderfully presented in an NFB animation directed by John Weldon (1979), sung by Kate & Anna McGarrigle. http://www.nfb.ca/film/log_drivers_waltz/
